I think my roommate(with a gf) is into guys, and I don't know what to do

I am currently a freshman in college and moved in around 3 months ago, I am gay. My roommate is "straight" which i accepted face value when he told me as such about 6 months ago. Problem is, I don't believe him.

When we first moved in, we were both kinda quiet, just kinda figuring each other out, but as time passes we've quickly become super close, spending pretty much every waking moment together. We workout together, we go to eat meals together in the dining hall, we play video games together, help each other with homework, and basically just spend a lot of time together. Throughout all this time together I have noticed things that make me question his sexuality, he has asked me twice how I knew I was gay, I've caught him checking other guys out, he has admitted to me that he will occasionally stare at guys butts, he has described one of his male friends to me as "Hot ... with a perfect body". However he has also admitted to me that he gets a crazy boner everytime he's around his gf(he has a propensity to overshare) and seems to genuinely love her. Writing all this down has helped me realize that he is almost assuredly into men in some capacity, but I still don't know what to do. He grew up in a deep red state, with what I can only assume is an unsupportive/homophobic/conservative family and still holds onto some of those values, currently has a girlfriend, but I still get the vibe he is in denial/repressing homosexual ideations.

I would be lying if I said I don't have feelings for him, because I absolutely do, but more importantly, I want to help him come to terms with his queerness and become the person I know he can be. When we first met, he consistently said the n word(we are both white), slut shamed women, among other sterotypical conservative teen boy shit. But, I appear to have rubbed off on him in a significant way, he has completely stopped saying the n word and seems to genuinely be making an effort to stop engaging with content on his feed relating to racism. I know it's ridiculous this should even be considered progress, but here we are. One other thing, this is the closest friendship I have ever had with a straight guy, so I have absolutely zero other criteria to compare this behavior to, so I don't really know how much of this can be considered "normal"

There is honestly a lot more I could say but I'm keeping it short for readers sake. I am asking for yall's advice because all of my friends agree with me, which feels like a bit of an echochamber at times, and I need outside perspective.
