Things I hope for in Planet Zoo 2

Now that it’s basically confirmed that Planet Zoo 2 is coming, here are some things I would want with it.

This first one is a bit unrealistic, but it would be great if all 210 animals from the first game and all its DLC’s were included in the base game for Planet Zoo 2. I don’t think this would happen though, considering the themes from Planet Coaster and all of that game’s DLC were not in Planet Coaster 2 upon launch. All but one of the base game’s themes returned in future updates, but none of the DLC themes from Planet Coaster have returned in Planet Coaster 2.

What I think is likely to happen instead is that they will take some animals from the base game and include them in Planet Zoo 2, which will also have some new species, and all of the base game animals will eventually return in future updates to PZ2. As for the DLC animals, I’m not sure when or even if they’d return.

The second thing is customizable exhibits. We should be able to choose different exhibit sizes, and have the ability to customize them with certain nature items, instead of just toggling them when it’s occupied. The same goes for the walkthrough exhibits. Also, certain NORMAL exhibit animals should be able to share space with other exhibit animals, as long as it would realistically work IRL too.

As for what animals should be in Planet Zoo 2, I don’t have a list, but I think there should be more exhibit animals, especially for underrepresented areas like Africa & Southeast Asia. Also, more Antarctic animals should be added, since there’s literally only one animal in the whole game that lives in Antarctica, and it’s not even a base game animal.
