How to make single-dose grinders as convenient as hopper grinders? I saw some people use little tubes 🫘 🧪

So I see the point of single-dose grinders — you can switch coffees out easily, the coffee is less likely to sit in the hopper for months on end, you can weigh the exact dose amount, and so on.

BUT, I’m half asleep and just wanna go code, not sit there with a scale. How do you make single-dose grinders as fast as the hopper ones (where you just press a button and it shoots the grinds into your puck)?

I saw some ppl pre-weigh their beans and put them in little tubes, so maybe that’s promising.

How many little tubes make up what would go into a typical hopper, and wouldn’t weighing the content for each tube be time-consuming? (I guess you can just weigh 1 tube properly, then put beans into the other tubes at around the height of the properly weighed tube).
