Moving Countries With a Cat

Moving from Ontario to Texas next month and looking for tips/things to be aware of bringing my cat across the border.

The first trip down will be a drive, and we’d do it over 2-3 days, and I think that might be to long, and not feasible as we were looking to do some stops along the way.

I’d be coming back to Canada after the drive to finish some things here, and then flying back and bringing him that way is the option I was leaning towards but I fear he wouldn’t do well in a carrier that long under the seat and putting him in cargo makes me anxious!!!

Any tips, input or what have you is greatly appreciated.
