HOUSTON, TEXAS

Tobias has been through a lot — but he’s still gentle, trusting, and calm. 💔

He’s an 11-year-old Staffordshire mix who came into BARC with healing wounds on his face and legs, thinning fur on his tail, and the quiet sadness of a dog who’s had a hard life.
Even so, a volunteer called him “a gentle giant at 72 pounds who got along with another male dog.”

He’s heartworm positive and older, but still wags his tail when someone shows him kindness.

⏰ Deadline: Thursday, 11/6 at 1 PM
Tobias must have a rescue hold by then or he’ll be euthanized.

He needs pledges and, most of all, a local foster so a rescue can save him.
