Legion of superheroes recs

I’ve slowly been making my way through the dc universe by Steve ditko Omnibus and gotten to the legion of superhero’s stuff and loving it. I’ve never known anything about the team before this and I’d like to get into them. I’d ideally like to get something in OHC, are either the great darkness saga deluxe or 5 years later Omni good starting points?
