Need advice

I’ve been using my 6.5 creedmoor to hunt for the past 5 years and have killed 3 elk and two deer. I’ve been using Nosler 140 grain Ballistic Tip and wondering if I switch to the partitions, or use my dad’s M77 Mark II .300 win mag.
