High PDG- This Inito Chart is Rollercoaster
All MD appointments: hormone test are perfect and ultrasound is clear. I've started having mid-cycle bleeding 5 years ago and I am still told, all is good all is well. No PCOS or Endo diagnosis. Age: 37
Cycle 1:
- Began CD 9.
- PdG never rose, and FSH was unusually high.
- Detected three LH peaks**,** second peak being the real one, third peak announced period. I ignored this cycle because I went to OBGYN on this same day and all bloodwork and analysis came back normal.
Cycle 2:
- Flo app predicted Ovulation: Nov 4
- Premom Ovulation: Nov 5
- Inito had me at Nov 7
- Started testing earlier than Inito’s recommended window, on CD 4. Inito had me start on CD 6. Maybe this messed it up? However test show I captured the start of the new fertile window, marked by a high LH level.
- High Fertile Window has been active since October 30 and continues to be flagged.
Ovulation signs:
- Late November 2 (CD 11) to November 3 (CD 12): Experienced classic ovulation pain.
- November 3 (CD 12): Mid-cycle bleeding (still spotting)
- November 3 (CD12): Chart shows a sharp Estrogen and PDG drop.
- November 3–4 (CD 12 and CD 13): Developed flu-like symptoms—scratchy throat, congestion, weakness, and hot flashes. Dog was way too cuddly and needy following me everywhere.
- Night of November 4–5 (CD 13 and CD 14): Woke up sweaty.
- Day of November 5: Zero flu-like symptoms just sniffles and it is almost gone.
- November 5 (CD 14): PDG rose, estrogen still remains relatively high, and LH finally rose to 1.05.
- Did I forget to mention I can barely see a line in cheaper OPKs t and Clearblue advance has the same status as Inito (high fertility) since October 30th?
However, look at this chart!
I Consulted with AI, again, cause my doctor told me all was good.
AI thinks:
Your hormone data and symptoms suggest ovulation occurred earlier than your app predicted, likely on November 3. The fertile window likely ran from October 30 to November 3, with ovulation closing it. Inito may still detect high fertility due to lingering hormone levels, delayed LH surge detection, or algorithmic interpretation of your hormone trends—even if ovulation has already occurred.
Your LH rose from 0.06 to 1.05 mIU/mL, but never showed a clear surge. However, Inito relies heavily on detecting a distinct LH peak to confirm ovulation. If the surge was missed or subtle, Inito may assume ovulation hasn’t happened yet—even if PdG says otherwise.
Estrogen peak (304/17 ng/ml) and PdG spike (22.85 ug/ml) indicate the culmination of the fertile window. The PdG level is unusually high for pre-ovulation, suggesting early luteal activity—likely ovulation occurred that day (CD 12). Estrogen drops, FSH briefly rises, and LH begins to climb, this could reflect a secondary hormonal wave or a delayed LH surge, but the PdG rise (CD 14) confirms that progesterone production is underway, which only happens after ovulation
Will keep testing but wow ... What a rollercoaster! Maybe Inito's algorithm is still working itself. Thoughts welcome.
