Help with the Tamagotchi Connection!

I currently have a Tamagotchi connection and I want to make it an obedient adult, but I have tried 4 times and have gotten lower tiers (like lowk failed). I am feeding on time, giving attention, and the other things the instructions say. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Thank you!
