Parents of adult participants

As a parent of adults I want to say the parents of men and women on MAFS shouldn't be putting any pressure on them not to move away when they meet a partner. They're only moving to a different part of the country, not to the other side of the world. If the partner has a young child that's where they should settle. None of us want our adult children to move away but we should put them first, be happy for them and not guilt trip them. We won't be around forever for them and it's good to see them form their own independent marriage and maybe family. My parents tried to stop me moving away to get married but thank goodness I did and that's why I have children. The years pass and I came back. I feel so frustrated to see parents not letting their adult children live their lives
