Spit up

Spit up is making me crazy. Our newborn will go for a while with very little spit ip and then goes through periods with tons. Does anyone else have this? I feel like I only hear from people who have babies who either spit up consistently or not at all. I can’t really find a trend but worried it’s my diet. It causes us so much stress. Anyone have this up and down spit up pattern and if so did you figure it out or just wait until they grow out of it?
