Is a data science masters worth it?

Hi. I'm currently a junior undergrad pursuing a BS in Math (Gen + Stats concentration) and a minor in GIS. I'm almost done with the minor (added it sophomore year) and was thinking about adding a CS minor to get some more coding experience but idk. I plan on taking summer classes, so workload isn't an issue.

Anyways.

Is it worth it to pursue a masters degree and, if so, which path would be best. I was thinking Data Science but I’ve heard mixed opinions about whether a Data Science master’s is worth it.

Any advice on whether a master’s makes sense and what programs/fields would be a good fit for my background?
