WDC #474: Bronze Age (Submissions)
Hello, designers! I hope you've enjoyed the blast from the past with our Manathirst round (yeah I'm not typing the whole title out again):
- Best Card: Hydra Herald by u/holeworm -- (Discord)
- Runner-up: Dark Revelations by u/yssurucipe -- (post)
- Best Undead: Soulstealer Tamuzo by u/Card-game-poet -- (post)
Weekly Competition
Hey, remember how I said a few comps ago that we're out of the Across the Timeways phase?
Rewind.
Our next prompt, submitted by u/yssurucipe, concerns one last unaddressed cycle from the revealed cards, one that we're right on time to reference since the set has just dropped. Have you gotten all you cards you wanted? What's your day one/two/three/four/five/six deck?
Actually, is it a cycle when it's just Whelp of the Bronze/Infinite, and Soldier of the Bronze/Infinite? You decide.
Prompts
Your prompt this week is to design TWO cards: a Bronze card, and its Infinite counterpart. The two collectible cards are supposed to be 'mirrors' to each other, having opposite effects and/or stats. HOWEVER, since art would be difficult to find for such a pair of cards, you are REQUIRED to use only one picture, and use Hearthcards' tools to mirror it horizontally and change its Hue to about halfway through.
Check this imgur album out for an example! The pictures will be posted to Discord in case your imgur doesn't show the pictures.
The secondary prompt is the most out of place thing to be Bronze/Infinite. Funnel cakes, anyone?
How to participate
Submit your card in the form of a comment on this post which includes a link to the image of your card. If you are submitting several pictures (e. g. a card and its tokens), please link all the images individually. Ideally, check that your links ends on a '.png' or a similar image format. Feel free to browse other entries and leave your feedback on them in the meantime!
The submission phase ends next Monday, ~21:00 CET (~3PM EST, ~3AM AWDT next day -- times are orientational and may vary with daylight savings and my laziness)
