Spanish Rice

I laid out the deer meat today, That you never liked the game taste of But I still made it the way you made the taco meat Lots of generic spices in one container but more black pepper while it browned

I put the tortillas in the pan and got them dark enough like how you wanted, And you always had to flip em for me cause they get too hot Maybe you just liked them a certain way

Then I tried the Spanish rice and knew I fucked it up Didn’t have the rice cooker out Just did it in the pan like your mom does. And I burnt it all.

Maybe it was the bullion Or the oil I used Or it was too hot Or you just weren’t with me to watch it.

Maybe I just couldn’t make Spanish rice without you.
