Well Line

My well’s water supply has broken for the third time in four years. This typically occurs after a dry spell or drought. The well line is approximately 5 to 6 feet deep (I can’t recall the last time it was repaired).

Does anyone have advice on how to prevent this from happening again? Is the dry weather a contributing factor? If so, would it be reasonable to surround the well line with sand or loose gravel to prevent future breakage? Alternatively, should I consider replacing the entire well line?

I appreciate any insights or recommendations you may have.
