playing sexy villain as an insecure person ?

I'm finding it very hard to get into my character. in my school play I act as the confident, seductive antagonist but I'm generally awkward and quiet personally, and not popular. I'm insecure about my looks and I've never been in an instance in real life where I've felt sexy.
