I feel like my life is just existing at the moment 9 weeks post op…

So just some background, I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with ovary removal, just over 9 weeks ago. I have pretty much healed up, the odd twinge here and there if I’ve pushed myself too much, but that’s about all.

But since the operation every time I stand or walk, I come over really dizzy and faint. It’s like my head and legs fill with blood almost. I went to my A&E department, after seeing my own GP multiple times about this. They’ve said my blood pressure is dropping when I stand or walk. But my heart rate raises significantly? I’ve now been referred to cardiology, and have to wait until the 01/12. The appointment I have is with a consultant, however it’s a telephone call? And then they will decide if I need further tests? I had this problem on and off if I stood up too quickly, prior to my operation. But since the operation it’s every day multiple times a day. It’s completely debilitating, and my life has almost stopped because I’m so limited in what I can and can’t do without this affecting me. I’m miserable, and I feel like my world has stopped. I’m 38 and a mum to four children. I wanted a smooth recovery, although I knew it would be a long one.

I just wondered if anyone else has had anything like this happen to them after their hysterectomy? Am I the only one? I just don’t get how this has happened and why? And even if it’s related to my hysterectomy?! I mean it seems way too coincidental that it’s got really bad since then? I’m being as active as I can be, however this is really stopping me in my tracks.

I just need to know if anyone else has had a problem like this since surgery, or if I’m alone in all of this, I’m so desperate it’s unreal!! Sorry to harp on, and thank you for any comments and support.
