[Lease Transfer] Above average sized Studio Hell's Kitchen - $1990/mo - Now to End of July 2026

I'm the current renter prepping to move. This is the StreetEasy link: https://streeteasy.com/building/411-west-54-street-new_york Happy to do a video call of the apartment. Depending on where I move, some of the stuff I'm happy to leave here include a fridge, a microwave, a desk, window A/C, huge cabinet, and bed that I bought (the apartment comes with a mini fridge, but I bought a big one, too; around $700 3 years ago). It also has a gas stove (which was important for me for cooking).

This is a pre-war apartment, 4th floor, no elevator with a live in super. The super is very nice.

I've lived here for 3.5 years and keep it in good condition. It faces an (inaccessible) grass courtyard and a huge tree (I'm on the top floor, and the tree faces me), so, in the morning, it's really cool to see bees and listen to birds chirping as I wake up. And generally just being able to smell greenery is refreshing in this concrete jungle. You can't really get that anywhere else. It's super quiet, almost incomparable to anywhere else.

Situated very close to all the major subway stations by around 1 avenue and a few streets away, 8 minutes of walking to 1/NQRW/BD/ACE.

The Shake Shack nearby always has a buy 1 get 1 free deal on Uber Eats that you can pick up. All the best Thai restaurants are here. Tons of restaurants nearby. Two of my favoriate Bangladeshi food carts in the city are here in case you're in a rush. There's a Planet Fitness and Crunch around 2 or 4 minutes walk respectively. Both are well maintained. There are also plenty of grocery stores and CVSes nearby with snacks, including the 57th st one which has a 24/7 pharmacy (all three have pharmacies).

It's around a 10 minute walk to the West Side Highway, and the QOL of living on the west side is nice simply because you can access more greenery and go on nice walks.

It's pretty safe. There's no homeless or drug addicts nearby. There's always people on the street. It's pretty close to a police station. It's also right next to a Chase bank and a dog shelter that you can volunteer at.

Speaking of which, the dog shelter hosts an annual dog fair on the street, too.

The apartment is on 9th ave, but 8th and 9th ave have food festivals all the time, too. If you ain't bored of them yet, then this apartment is close by that you'll just accidentally stumble upon them.

When I've been touring apartments, I noticed this is an above average sized studio. I've been looking for 800 sq ft apartment, and this studio is definitely half those. I've never been told how many sq ft this studio is, but I'd guess around 350-400 sq ft.
