I’m so tired of people without kids shaming us..

Rant

just ranting :)

I’m 28 years old, and 30 weeks pregnant. For the record I fully acknowledge that the world sucks bad right now. And I also fully acknowledge that climate change is real. But I just saw a tik tok of a man talking about it being literally “negligent” to have kids in 2025. And the comments are 100x worse. Tbh I didn’t even want kids until a few years ago, but I’ve never looked at pregnant women and thought they were stupid. It’s a part of our brain and body chemistry. Once I started feeling like I wanted this, I also started feeling an emptiness in my life, and like this was just the next step. Tbh I’ll never know what even made me want to have a baby, but whatever it was is something deep inside of me and I wasn’t going to be able to turn it off. I also wonder if the younger gen Z women will reach this age and feel the same or if they really will stay so anti-child forever. I always want to comment on these posts but I don’t want to hear about how “selfish” I am from a bunch of men and teenagers. It already felt so much shame just wanting this before it even happened and at a point pregnancy just feels embarrassing unless I’m talking to an elderly women.
