NSFW experience… is this expected?

Posting on a throwaway account for obvious reasons.

I am new to the gateway tapes, and last night I was on discovery #3 advanced focus 10 working on the resonant energy balloon. The orientation and intro to focus 10 I didn’t notice anything… but last night I had an intense sexual experience.

Throughout the tape I could feel this pressure growing around my body, particularly in my head, almost like I was going to float away or explode out of myself. The feeling began tugging toward the ceiling through my stomach and private areas… and then it turned into extreme pleasure and arousal, to the point of rolling body climaxes for the duration of the tape.

I’m not new to the intense feelings that can come from a deep meditative state, but what I experienced was bizarre. I know this sounds so stupid and I’m embarrassed even saying this, but it felt like I was energetically being pleasured by something outside myself.

Throughout all of this I was silently laying in bed next to my husband, who was sound asleep. Suddenly towards the end of the tape as I was starting to come back to myself, he did something he never does. In his sleep he reached over to me, almost as if he was summoned, and initiated intimacy (I cannot stress that this has not happened in 5+ YEARS). Of course he quickly woke up, but afterwards when I asked him about it he couldn’t remember why he initiated, just that he was suddenly very aroused.

I know this could have just been random chance that this sequence of events unfolded like this, but it’s odd because I suffer from chronic illness and have been in a flare lately, so I haven’t been in the mood and my husband and I have not been intimate in a while. But last night I FELT amazing, and even during intimacy I didn’t experience my normal symptoms that get aggravated during.

I feel silly even talking about this, but I do not feel comfortable talking with my friends about this experience. Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on this? Is it normal to… climax and become aroused during this type of meditation?
