How long can I wait on an extraction, or root canal correction? (I'm on antibiotics)

I was supposed to get an extraction, but the surgeon sent me home because I got nervous when he did the local anesthetic. They were playing loud top 40 pop music, and the dentist kept talking while he did the injection, so I yelled to stop talking while the needle with the oversized syringe was in my mouth, then yelped and cried the second time.

I am on medicaid, and am saving to move to a new apartment, because my cosigner won't renew with me.

I basically have to choose between getting a tooth taken out or homelessness.
