Is the Navigazione Laghi “giornaliero” (day pass) really valid for unlimited rides all day on Lake Como?

Hi everyone! I’ll be traveling around Lake Como soon and I’m a bit confused about the ferry tickets on navigazionelaghi.it.

I saw there’s a €15 “giornaliero” (day pass) option that says “biglietto di libera circolazione nel giorno.” Does that actually mean I can take unlimited boats around the Centro Lago area (for example: Varenna → Lenno → Bellagio → Varenna) all in the same day?

Also, if the website says “biglietti online esauriti,” can I still buy the day pass in person at the ticket office in Varenna on the same morning?

Any recent experience or tips appreciated — especially about schedules and whether it’s better than single tickets for groups. Thanks! 🙏
