Domi Reversi and it's counterparts...

The question goes: "If I were reanimated or controlled by any of these, what kind of person would I be?"

I believe we can create 2 axes for this.

The X axis is "self". On the left side of the X axis, your self is diminished, until you reach a complete loss of identity On the right side of the X axis, your self is maximized, until you reach the ideal potential version.

The Y axis is "agency". On the upper half, you are under control by someone else's will to a varying degree, until you reach the top, where you have no will of your own. On the bottom half, you are a free agent to a varying degree, until you reach the bottom where you are fully following your own will.

I have graphed out the powers that can reanimate, give life, or control another being.

These are

• Shadow
• Soul
• String
• Yomi
• Domi Reversi
• Sun God Nika

On this graph, I'm realizing that that they're all inversions of each other on the axis.

For instance Shadow seems to take away personality and keep you moderately controlled, with some degree of your will.

Soul is flipped on the Y axis, it gives a diminished personality, but provides the entity with a lot more agency.

String doesn't alter a sense of self, but takes away all agency.

The Yomi Yomi doesn't alter a sense of self, and allows the soul to have complete agency even though you've died.

It seems to me that the "dark" powers remove agency but are on a spectrum when it comes to personal identity. The soul powers are the same, except flipped on the Y axis, they keep agency and freedom.

In this way I believe that Sun God Nikas ability is a self enhancement... Following the users will, they become the best ideal version of themselves. Domi Reversi is the opposite.. following Imu's will, they become the best ideal version of how to serve Imu's will.

In essence - shadow removes a lot, but not all agency and diminishes self soul provides a lot, but not all agency and a diminished self String removes all agency, self is untouched Yomi-yomi maintains all agency, self is untouched Domi Reversi removes all agency and maximizes self Sun God Nika provides all agency and maximizes self
