Issues with internship

Hello guys. I am doing a retail internship because I did a course with a non profit for vulnerable women and victims of trafficking. I did my first day and I was told not to go because of "personal hygiene". I was perfectly fine and my looks and uniform were ok. The company is not replying the coordinator/social worker and told me not to go again. She is as desperate as me. And can't believe what is happening. They already had issues like girls not showing up, stealing etc. What do you think that is happening?
