Orange or Fender Amp?

Hi - I'm still a noob (newb?) and I was hoping to get some amp advice. I've been playing on a Vox headphone amp, but I'd like to move up to the real thing. I think $400 is what I'm comfortable spending. Would love to play with other people someday, but that's not really in the immediate or even intermediate future. I live in a single-family house so I have some room to get a bit loud if I want (and I'll occasionally want).

So, it looks like I can get a Orange Crush 50 for $399...

What would you do in my shoes? Or would you pick something else? And if anybody wants to explain why the Orange is worth $50 more for lower wattage, I'd love that too. It does seem to have more dials and lights! And I like the color! (especially the purple Glenn Hughes edition...).
