After a decent 2025/26 season, winning the UEFA Super Cup, and finishing 2nd in the Premier League, the board were happy to keep me as manager, and I was happy to stay. I spent most of June sending some new youth players on loan. Once July came around, Casemiro had now moved to Everton, as he'd agreed a contract with them last season, as you'd know if you've seen my last post. In his place, I signed João Gomez from Wolves.

Over the window, I received offers for Mazraoui and Amad, players who have both failed to love up to my hopes, and failed to stay up to par with the rest of the squad, so I accepted both offers, and both players completed the deals. And in August, after winning the pre season tournament, I signed major upgrades as replacements: for my new fullback, I chose Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, and for my new winger, Nico Williams from Athletic Club. Our first game of the Premier League was Liverpool and we came out on top winning 4-0. Just before international duty, I renewed some contracts, and out a £175M release Clause on Bruno Fernandes' contract, which will likely be used in a season or two, when he approaches his decline.

By October, things have been going well, we're first in the league table, going strong in the Champions League group stage, the only bad thing going for us is that we've lost the Carabou Cup. But after putting De Ligt off the team for a few games to let him rest and recover his energy, he comes back and pulls a Højlund (season 1 refrence) and requests to leave over it. Unfortunately, there weren't any offers I accepted by the end of the January window, leaving him with us for the rest of the season.

In March, we're doing good. First place on the league table by 7 points, and we've qualified to the next round in the FA Cup, where we'll be facing Leeds. We win that match and move on the the next phase. Now we start the round of 16 in the Champions League, and we face Real Madrid. Unfortunately, Thuram, one of our most important players, will be out for both matches from injury. The first game ends 2-2. The 2nd match starts well, with Tel scoring 20 minutes in, and by halftime it's 1-1. The score remains for the rest of the game, until the 82nd minute, when Zirkzee scores to make it 2-1, and send us into the quarter finals, where we'll be facing PSG.

After returning from international duty, we begin the FA Cup quarter finals, going up against Arsenal, and just in time for Thuram to be fit to play again. We played brutally, and won 6-1, to take us to a semi-final against Bournemouth. After a successful youth tournament, I promoted two new goalkeepers, Rafael Lins, and Noam Godin, and I put both of them on loan for next season to develop them well. Now we're onto the PSG matches, and it ends on a 7-5 aggregate to us, confirming our spot in the semi finals against Leipzig.

We now head to Wembley to face Bournemouth in the FA Cup semi finals, and win 2-1, with goals from Fernandes and Thuram. The other match was City vs Liverpool, where Liverpool came out with the same score, confirming them as our opponents for the finals. That match is then followed by the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi finals vs Leipzig, and it was devastating, losing 3-0. But we still have another leg, do we have what it takes to come back? But before that, our next Premier League match against Arsenal is gonna be really important. A victory here, and we can confirm 1st place for the season. 20 minutes in and Thuram opens the scoreline. And just after the second half begins, Arsenal's Gyøkeres gets one in to make it even, then Saka scored in the 70th minute, putting us in a losing position. The rest of the match was tough, lots of goal attempts from both sides. But it wasn't enough, and the title race is still on.

And right after that game, it's back to Champions League, with anything less than 4-0 to us being unacceptable. And things aren't going well when in the 40th minute Onana fails to save a penalty. And by the end of the 2nd half? Our hopes and dreams of a treble are shattered. But we still have the FA Cup and the Premier League to look forward to. And speaking of Premier League, if our next match against Wolves is even a draw, we win the title. And as you'd expect, we won. And United were crowned as the 2027 Premier League champions.

With no stress about points anymore, I decided to rotate the squad a little more for the rest of the season, except for the FA Cup finals, which after a game against Fullham, we're ready to play. 20 minutes in, we score, 1-0. Then again in the 30th minute, 2-0. And another in the 40th minute, 3-0. Then Zirkzee scores in the 45th minute, 4-0. And by the end, we'd won 7-0 to win our second trophy of the season.

After two more Premier League games against Coventry and Crystal Palace, the season was done. Some of my top players had plenty of goals too. Sancho scored 13 times, same for Nico Williams, Fernandes scored 25, Thuram scored 46, and Zirkzee, who also won player of the season, scored 55 goals.

Over the season, I noticed how fast Weatley was developing, he's going at the same speed Chido Obi's going at, and if you've seen the last 2 season recaps, you'd know that I've seen a massive amount of potential in Chido Obi, and I'm currently sending him out on loans fo develop him into a top class player, and I now plan to have Weatley put on this plan too starting next season, which is when we can hopefully win a treble this time round.
