C1 Visa as a South African applying in Johannesburg?

Hello, I am a SA resident who married a USA resident we are in Los Angeles, I miss home more than anything i am in a dark depression and to be quite honest i do not like America. I want to go home and recoup be with my family and get better. So my question is who did a C1 visa from SA recently? What was your process like is it doable? I don't even know if i want to live here but i need the visa to come visit my husbands family and him when he is not in SA. is anyone in this similar position. please help
