I don’t know if my friendship with my best friend is salvageable or not.

I (26F) and my best friend (26F) have been friends practically since birth. Our grandparents were very close friends, so we grew up together. We have a lot in common, and I have never been able to imagine life without her since she has been my nearest and dearest friend for so long. Her and her brother are practically my siblings. We’ve been in many friend groups that fizzled out over time, but it was always us two in the end. We’ve been through a lot together and separate, and we’ve even lived with each other a few times. We both have negative home lives, so we rely on each other a lot (not in an unhealthy, codependent way). I’m usually a very easy going person, and not a lot shakes me or bothers me, and if it does, I usually address it calmly, as to not cause an issue to worsen.

Two years ago, she got a boyfriend who she really clicked with and is head over heels for. I am genuinely happy for them, he is wonderful to her and I’m so happy she’s found someone who treats her well. I lived with them for awhile, but I just recently moved out, since they are getting more serious, and we all agreed that they need a place of their own. However, ever since they got together, she has spent every waking moment with him to the point where she doesn’t want to leave the house or do anything unless he is there. He is similar in that way; he is attached to her hip. I have a boyfriend who I’ve been with for 7 years (I love him very much, and neither of us plan to get married or have kids, just a small side note) but he and I, even from the beginning, would do things individually and independently, and we don’t feel the need to spend every moment together. I know every relationship is different, but I feel like it’s gotten a bit excessive. I can’t remember the last time I spent time with her one-on-one, because she won’t really hang out or make plans unless it’s a couple’s thing, or her boyfriend is there. Even when there are events where she has to be away from him, she’s always very quiet and looks bored and constantly talks about how much she misses him. It seems as if she’s waiting until she can leave to go spend time with him, which does bother me slightly because I’m afraid that she’s going to look back one day and regret missing out on so much. Am I being dramatic here? Is this something I should talk to her about, or is it worth it? I know her well, and I feel like she won’t see anything wrong with it, or she’ll villainize me for criticizing her relationship, even though that’s not what I’m trying to do at all. I’m happy for her no matter what, I’m just worried that she’s going to have regrets, or that she and I will drift apart. Should I approach this, or leave it be?

Side note: my boyfriend and I used to live together, but a lot has happened over the last few years that caused us to have to move back home. We live in two different towns that are 30 minutes apart, but we live in small towns, so it’s hard to find a place for us that is affordable and that will accommodate pets. I also didn’t address this when I first noticed all of this because I went through some serious, life-altering events the last two years, so it hasn’t been my main focus up until recently. That being said, any advice would be great!
