Quest 3 vs 3s: is it really that big of a difference

I neer owned a vr headset but recently I got interested in the medium.Watched some videos and got the picture of the pricing and the different specs.I quickly narrowed down my choises to the quest 3 or 3s.I own a farely good pc as well but the psvr2 was juat too little for the money.

And so my question is is it really that big of a difference especially for a first time vr user between the 3s and 3 image quality etc... Is there a justifiable amount of pros for double the price?I see youtubers swear on their life that you shouldnt buy the 3s.

I have the money for the 3 but I dont lime spending needlessly. In my country the 3 is about 45-50% more expxensive than the 3s (3s 300-320euros and the 3 is around 560-620 depending on the retailer).
