Are black hawks still viable ?

So in the much older Battlefields certainly battlefield Bad company 2 (my opinion peak BF experience) Black hawks were actually really useful and were actually wanted by players.

I feel in the latest BF6 (I absolutely think is amazing!!) black hawks are less useful than previous games, don’t know if it’s because they are more vulnerable to attack by anti air or RPG‘s or jets.

Or it’s because players simply discard them straight away once they get where they want to go?

Do players actually use them to transport around still?
