2008 G35 — would a battery kill switch be a decent temporary fix for parasitic drain?
Own a 2008 G35 — runs fine but has a parasitic drain. Mechanic said wiring was hacked before I got the car. Rewiring could get expensive, so I’m weighing a battery kill switch (or battery quick-disconnect) as a temporary solution so it won’t die when parked.
Anyone with a G35 experience with this? Did it cause weird problems (immobilizer, key fob, radio memory, window/seat settings, ECU errors)? Any recommended products or install locations for this model? Thanks.
