Shedding after switching brands of min

I used Hims for 6 months with GREAT results (first time on min). After it ran out I shifted to members mark from Sam’s since it’s much cheaper and I’m noticing a ton of shed right now. Is this normal part of the cycle or is it because of the switch or something else
