A request for bot authors

PLEASE do NOT use second person perspective ("you" instead of {{user}}) in greeting messages. It's the single main thing that causes Soji to narrate for {{user}} as well as {{char}}. With virtually every card I use on Chub, the first two things I have to do are remove all asterisks, and change "you" to {{user}} in greetings; because if I don't, I will get both narration for {{user}}, and broken italics constantly.

Soji can not be directly controlled with a system prompt. The statements you write in the sysprompt about not writing for {{user}} have no real effect. The only way you can consistently prevent narration for {{user}}, is by minimising the amount you mention {{user}}, in the initial greeting as much as possible. You should ideally not mention {{user}} directly in the greeting at all.
