Disable instagram reels?

Hello, does anyone know of a way to disable Instagram reels (while still having access to the main feed). On iPhone. I am trying to get rid of all short-form video content and have done so by deleting Tiktok and turning off my Youtube history. I would like to find a way to keep Instagram so I can see my friends’ posts and messages but not get sucked into the Reels doomscrolling. Thanks
