I think people are wrong about 2v8

Discussion

I constantly see people talk about how survivor-sided it is. This version is the first time I've properly played it, and i think that's wrong. The problem is, from what I've experienced, genuinely just massive skill issues.

Take the game i just completed for example. Spirit and Pyramid Head as the killers. Numerous times they would be chasing someone next to a gen with multiple survivors on it, and they'd just let them complete it. Probably about half our gens were done with a killer next to it just not pushing the survivors off.

Then there's the games where the killers just go around together the whole time. Never leaving each other's side. Sounds good, cuts down chases nicely. But then you've got, at least at the start of the game, seven other survivors free to just rush gens. And if that first chase takes even a little bit of time, the killers are already in a bad spot with how progressed gens will be.

Compared to the killer games I've played in 2v8. All the games I've played except for one ended with at least 6 kills. The only game that didn't was one with my teammate as a Nurse who couldn't do anything and who only got one hook the entire game, while i managed to get 6 on Billy.

My point is 2v8 isn't as survivor-sided as people think. At least, it wouldn't be if people actually knew howcto play the game. The problem isca baby killer will have a lot worse of a time than a baby survivor, and if there's two baby killers in the same game, they'll have no chance. Which is what it seems to be so often.

At least, that's what I've observed. Feel free to share your experiences if you think I'm wrong.
