For tall people?

By tall, let's say anyone over 6'2'' which is on the short side of tall. The problem isn't belt width or length, because plenty of machines are both wide and long. The issue is the instrument panel only being so high, and things like heart rate monitoring hand holds situated so low to be unreachable from high above. The commercial stuff at the gym don't seem to have any problem, but the affordable stuff for home seem to be made for people closer to 5' then to 6'. On some of these home units the whole panel would need to be 8'' ~ 12'' higher to make sense (barely usable) for somebody with just a little tallness. The mind bodies how these machines are seemingly constructed for what I'd (exaggerating) call midgets.

Are there any machines sold for a reasonable price designed for your slightly above average height guy? Because I'm pressure the supposedly average height guy 5'10'' would have grip drama holding those heart rate monitors on most kits... Are treadmills really designed for little people?
