I need a hand to make the jinki of zanka for my cosplay

iI don't know if this is the right group to ask, but whatever.

I recently finished making Zanka's uniform and wig. My only problem is his jinki. I don't know how to do it. Should I make it out of plastic, metal, or something like that? What should I do?
