Hourglass is the first fully original character in project moribund who doesn't have a character in the main game.

Lore: Hourglass is an entity who is completely fabricated in the mind of Astro, being the manifestation of what Astro remember of freakshow and the horrors of that day. Haunting his dreams and mentally harassing the poor moon to point of isolation and even thinking about suicide. Astro had no say in when hourglass showed up but he most commonly appeared in his dreams and during moments of sleep paralysis.
It's almost impossible to ignore him since he is around the size of a small whale. Being 10ft with a wingspans of 5. Hourglass had a heavy influence on Astro mental state during he closing of Gardenview, as there was nothing stopping hourglass from torturing Astro.

Until she came.

This person acted as Astro's therapist and they spent time together. This horrid glass monster slowly lost its power it had over Novalite and left. With Astro's twisting Hourglass is now at the back of Astro's mind now able to torment him in his own head. Hourglass can enter other toons minds, they just have to encounter freakshow first and survive.

Gameplay: Hourglass is a lethal. Spawning in a game mode known as broken rift or when ever you spend an hour on a floor in the main game mode. In broken rift, you play in first person in the view of astro. And spawn on these floors that resemble a mix of project moribund's maps and dandy's world's, all maps have 10-20 machines and your only goal is to make it to those machines and they are completed instantly, given a time limit of 2 minutes you must rush to these machines and leave the floor, if failed hourglass will spawn and rush towards you, he can go through walls and moves in large bursts of speed that can be dodged. The movement is a lot more different from project moribund's and Dandy's world. With the ability to jump, slide and wall run.

Personality: Being a reflection of freakshow, it retains alot of his personality but it's distorted, instead of being a more playful sadistic is more on the aggressive, forward scale but still retains that mocking behavior that freakshow always has. Since Hourglass can never attack physically, it looks for what it can use against you. Hourglass drives a lot of the boss twisteds to attack. Using methods like fear, gas lighting and lying. All twisteds are equally scared of hourglass as they are with freakshow.
