Used pen and paper to take notes

I used a pen and paper during toefl ibt during my test was asked to destroy it by ripping, completed test but now score is under administrative review what will happen? I misunderstood a rule about not using pen and paper for taking notes, i was only supposed use an erasble marker with one white paper in a clear cover, i had the paper in a clear cover but used the paper in to write with a normal pen which is illegal. What is the likely outcome?
