“All Her Fault” is like stepping into a rich mom mystery with the emotional stakes of a missing child and the social warfare of a PTA meeting gone nuclear. It’s tense, stylish, and just unhinged enough to keep you glued to the screen—even when the plot starts tripping over its own twists.

Sarah Snook leads as Marissa Irvine, a wealth manager whose life implodes when her son vanishes during a playdate. From the moment she knocks on the wrong door and gets the wrong answer, the show spirals into a maze of secrets, lies, and suburban paranoia. The performances are sharp—Snook balances grief and suspicion like a pro, and Dakota Fanning’s Jenny is unsettling in a way that makes you question every smile. The cinematography leans into muted luxury: beige coats, cold kitchens, and tension simmering under every perfectly arranged throw pillow. The show nails the vibe of “you think you know your neighbors until you don’t,” and the pacing in episodes 1 and 5 is especially brutal—in a good way.

But it’s not all flawless. The series gets a little too obsessed with “gotcha” moments, throwing in twists that feel more like shock value than earned revelations. Some characters—especially the school moms and nannies—are introduced with juicy potential but end up as plot devices. And while the mystery keeps you guessing, it sometimes forgets to let the emotional fallout breathe. Still, “All Her Fault” delivers what it promises: a stylish, anxiety-inducing thriller that makes you side-eye every parent at pickup. It’s not just about who took Milo—it’s about how far people will go to protect the version of themselves they show the world.
