[ 21+ ] [ GM4A ] Dark Fantasy and Modern Horror . . . Huzzah !

NSFWA4A

Hello, dear writers !

I’m Witch (they/them), a 30yo amateur artist and I'm searching for a roleplay partner for two universes / stories I’ve been building for years.

As much as I’ve created whole worlds, deities and cities, I really want to share those with someone who has their own universes and characters. I’m really into worldbuilding, creating interesting bonds between different characters, finding new ideas to add to an already existing world and finally creating a duo that could surprise us both ! Enemies to lovers, strangers to friends or even friends to enemies to lovers.

Moreso, even if romance is on the table I want it to be only 50% of our OCs’s arcs as I want us to explore every theme a story can have ; mystery, friendships, action, horror, comedy and etc. If we go the romance route I’d love it if it was a slow burn one but we’ll see how it goes ! We can’t always predict the chemistry between characters as I prefer to focus more on what works than try to stick to a plan at all cost at the risk of making the story dull and difficult.

In short, my mind is full of worlds and creatures and I need to be unhinged about it.

I've been roleplaying for 15+ years so I’m searching for a literate partner who is willing to do multi-paras (~3/4 full paragraphs is ideal as I do around ~5/6 paragraphs, but it depends on my inspiration.) and write in 3rd person. Of course I’m not against shorter replies when it’s during dialogues or action scenes, sometimes we gotta get the story going ! Plus, what matters most is the quality rather than the quantity, I’m not about filling paragraphs with nothing just to write a big reply.

If you are someone who’s looking for rapid fire replies every single day, you might want to look somewhere else. I’m set on giving my writing partners a good story while balancing life/work/health on the side. So I’d rather warn any potential roleplay partners about it now than disappoint those who are used to a certain amount of replies per day.

¤ I am LGBT+ and POCs friendly so all types of OCs are welcomed with open arms !

¤ All characters must be 20+.

¤ I like friendly OOC talk ! My favorite food is sushi and I wish I could have a komodo dragon.

¤ If you have a faceclaim, the type I’m not okay with is anime and AI

Due to work, hobbies and life in general, I reply once per day, mostly during the evening after work. If there are days that you are too busy to answer (or writer's block ! It can happen !), it’s totally fine and I'm not gonna harass you for a reply.

¤ [ Dark / High Fantasy ] THE DRAGON QUEEN :

The Kingdom of Fher has been known for its cursed heritage.

Eons under the rule of a royal family, a strong lineage directly linked to the dragons and with a cruelty and greed matching their reptilian forefathers. Descendants of queens, kings, warlords and power hungry dracaes held the territory under their rule. A kingdom ruined by war and corruption, the border closed and strictly guarded from neighboring kingdoms. While other kingdoms had their own battles and alliances, slowly but surely creating the history of the world through passing decades, it was an unspoken understanding that, if not threatened, the kingdom of Fher should be left alone and not dealt with unless drastic circumstances.

Until, as expected -and hoped-, the breakthrough came from the inside.

A coup. A revolution. A descendant taking arms against their own blood. A population rising against its tormentors, following a new heraldry made of red and gold with the promises of a new dawn for a land living in the dark.

For the first time since the very first dracae king took dominion over the dragon lands, Fher joined the world under the rule of a brand new queen. Despite suspicion and wariness from the eleven existing kingdoms a new piece was put into place into an already existing game of chess, disturbing the foundation of century old alliances and bringing to light the truth of Fher’s past.

¤ [ Modern / Horror ] THE WITCH’S HOUSE :

Carac is a small town. Fifty years ago it was one of the most popular little vacation sites in France, less than one hour from the sea, surrounded by rich and vast woods with an overview of the countryside . The elders still remember Carac's glory days ; the marketplace every Sunday taking every street and alleys, seasonal celebrations, the neverending supplies of fishery, game and the harvest from the fields and orchards.

Slowly, tourists and visitors stopped coming. The marketplace shrunk in size and happened less frequently. Shops started to close. Prices got up. Quaint little houses lost their colors, buildings were left half constructed and decrepit and some roads were closed indefinitely. However, the inhabitants of Carac were unwilling to let go of their heaven on earth, even if they were clinging to the rotting ghost of what it was in its golden years.

Carac is a ghost town. The only shops left are barely standing up and risking bankruptcy each end of the month. Colorful walls and decorated storefronts became gray with pollution, black stripes pouring from old stone and action movie posters were replaced with missing person’s papers. Rumors spread like the plague, secrets are kept hushed behind closed doors and something deep and terrible is brewing, growing like a storm darkening the horizon.

Then, there is the woods. In the people’s mind, nothing has changed about it. Nature being nature, the woods cared very little for the life of humankind. A few of the elders still foraged its edges for a few mushrooms and nuts. Bolder young people liked to stroll the clear paths that are still left in summer or hunt little game in autumn.

It would be a simple place if it wasn't for the house in the middle of the woods. No one had truly seen it and, somehow, everyone knew it was there. Moreso, nobody truly wanted to go there by themself.

After all, this is where the first missing boy was found.
