AITAH for hating the way my husband dresses?

Over the past few years but husband has been dressing worse and worse. Basketball shorts with knee high socks, sometimes different color socks. Pants with holes in the butt so you can see his boxers. Extremely wrinkled tops. Cut off pants at the shin, etc. I always encourage him to dress a bit cleaner or tell him it looks ridiculous and he gets really defensive. I have bought him nice clothes in the past and offered to help with his laundry , but tells me he doesn’t want either. Yesterday before he got dressed he told me , I’m wearing my thick thermals under basketball shorts today and don’t say anything. He looked ridiculous and I told him he did but he said he likes to wear these type of clothes because he wants to show me that I shouldn’t care and it doesn’t actually matter. We ran into two former clients of mine and I was embarrassed. One part of me realizes it just clothes and I need to let it go. The other part of me is bothered by it because he knows how he dresses upsets me and he does it anyway. AITAH?
