Anyone else catch that Dasha dig? “you don’t want to end up being a 35 former it girl posting your clothes on depop”

I’ll keep giving it a shot because we must support comedy in these trying times but it just feels rushed/unstructured. I think what this show is lacking is stakes, like if she fails at promoting her friend she goes back to her p solid mid life. I know she said that entourage is her inspo but in entourage creates stakes so well. The pilot of entourage sets up the stakes of e/vinny’s relationship — his bestfriend’s career is in his hands and he’s way out of his depth. At the end of the pilot (spoily) e and vinny turn down 4 million dollars to do their next movie and we’re left hanging will it pay off or are they fucked?

I also thought unfortunately that ayo’s accent was so bad. Love her tho. The whole B story didn’t add at all to the plot. The B story is supposed to intersect at the end with the A story to help solve both storylines. At least this episode had a good tag and we’re headed towards to some juicy conflict but at its core i’m not buying the main two’s dynamic.

I watched the new episode of chair company after and holy shit that was an incredible episode of comedy tv.
