Concern for rising parent influencer
I’m writing this because I just want people to be aware and think critically. There’s a TikTok creator who has recently blown up for being a ‘fulltime single father.’ A lot of followers send gifts/money, believing it’s helping the child.
I’ve known this person offline for many years, and the public image isn’t the full picture. A lot of the money doesn’t go where people think it does, and the child’s environment is not as stable or safe as it’s presented online.
I just want to remind people that social media isn’t reality. Don’t assume someone’s a perfect parent just because that’s what’s shown on camera.
Please think twice before financially supporting "influencers" especially when vulnerable kids are involved. Not everything is as it seems.
