Roger’s illness

We all assume Roger just got sick and died (killed )before the Great Era began. But what if that “illness” wasn’t natural at all?

My theory is that Roger got Demi Reverse . It was o Imu’s power but somehow Roger resists it . Roger knew he was going to die — not because of disease, but because he had already got the Demi Reverse.

And Garp knew. That’s why he never truly tried to stop Roger. Maybe he even helped him hide it. The “illness” story was just the cover-up.
