How do I tell my dad he's not invited to my wedding?

I'm still in the fairly early stages of wedding planning and I've told most of my close friends and family that my dad is not going to be invited to my wedding. He is incredibly inappropriate when it comes to small talk and has no filter when speaking to people. He is racist, transphobic, and tends to say really embarrassing Boomer things no matter who he's talking to, and I can't have him embarrassing me at my wedding. We have a fairly rocky relationship most of the time as it is, so it's not like this was a spur of the moment decision, but I don't know how to tell him without offending him.
