Have any of you run outdoors with the Powerbeats Fit?

My Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds died on me a couple of months back. I absolutely loved them, had them for quite a few years. They fit so well in the ears, never dropped out no matter what pace I went or during vigorous workouts, and were so comfortable that I could have them in for ages. ANC were good (for me, at least), and hearthrough - which is how I had them on usually - was great. I can hear just enough. I discovered that Jabra pulled out of this lifestyle earbuds business, and I couldn’t find the 8 active anywhere despite much hunting.

I settled for the Sennheiser Momentum Sport… and I don’t like them. First, hearthrough picked up an incredible amount of wind that my Jabra never did. So I kept them at Anti Wind mode which were acceptable but filtered out too much. Still better than hearthrough. And then during the first few runs, the mode kept changing on its own to anc and then hear through, especially during my sprint sessions. I maybe the body movements were triggering the touch controls, so I put on the wingtips on the left ear. My right ear couldn’t stand the wingtip at all. So uncomfortable. Well, that helped with the issue mostly, though maybe occasionally still happens. But unfortunately the wingtips had added to the uncomfortableness of the earbuds, not to mention that the wingtips kept coming out when I put the buds off or on. Overall I couldn’t stand to wear them for too long. So yeah …probably gonna sell them off or give them away.

I saw that the Powerbeats Fit were just released and seemed to be pretty promising. I’ll try the fit in the stores one of these day but I want to ask if anyone has run outside with them so far? How’s hear through? Is there a lot of wind? Thumping from foot strikes?

I don’t like open ear or bone conduction earphones for running. I need to filter out some sound (cars and bikes are loud), and on some safe stretches I go into ANC. I also don’t like anything with ear hooks, they itch a bit.

And again, sucks that Jabra no longer makes those awesome perfect earbuds.
