I can air refuel when the tanker is straight and level with zero issues. But I'm lost when it turns.
Can someone give me some advice on how to fuel when the tanker is in a turn? 300 knots is what I usually use to stay with the tanker when going straight. Is this the same speed I want tk keep in a turn? When I make the turn, do I keep micro adjusting the pitch or am I supposed to hold it back a bit and keep it in place?
I can stay with the tanker in a turn, but not precise enough to refuel. Do air force pilots actually do this?it seems dangerous.
Thank you!
