After union was all set in your work force, what changed?

Some coworkers are looking to unionize. Of course my work does not want that and are trying to get us to change our minds with telling us it will be a us vs them environment, management won’t be able to do anything, nothing is promised etc etc.

I’m just wondering if what you were told pre union to stop becoming a union actually happened once union was in place?

A lot of my coworkers are getting anxiety over all this union talk and the unknowns. And truthfully the government shut down probably turned a lot of original union supporters away because we can’t vote and instead we just get all this extra “information” in our heads and can’t get away from any of it where we already have enough support to vote but can’t thanks to the government.

So I’d like to know after unionizing what exactly changed with employees and management?
