We need to "tea party" the Democrats.

It's time to Tea Party the Democrats into nothingness, because the establishment way isn't working - the fascists are winning. In 2007, the "Tea Party" movement began within the GOP. These people were far-right reactionary conservatives who existed to hate President Obama. They had no real platform besides lower taxes and smaller government. In any case, they managed to drag the GOP even farther to the right, and made normal conservatives largely irrelevant. The Tea Party successfully transformed the GOP into an even farther right version of itself.

We already had DSA members in local, state and federal office, and we gained more last week in several states. We can do this to the Democrats if they don't want to work for the people. We the people just have to keep electing candidates like this and ignoring establishment Democrats. The members of the DSA serving in their offices need to help us lurch this party across the middle to be a truly leftist party. FDR showed socialism is actually quite popular here in America, but the GOP has been on a crusade against it since the 50's.
